Description
When Atlas, Lily's childhood sweetheart, becomes apparent to Ryle. Be at ease, folks. Let yourself get carried away for a while with Tina Belcher's Erotic Friend Fan Fiction—very few characters in this film have real names in Afdah Info. Lily believes she can live the same life without Ryle regularly beating her ass, but all of the domestic abuse is meant to set her up for that eventuality. The original author's intention to age up the characters and attempt to give them more agency in the movie as opposed to the book has received a lot of attention. It still feels like a couple of naive twenty-year-olds beating each other up for attention, so I'm not sure what occurred with that.
